This litter should produce very biddable friendly dogs. They will be attentive and be strong retrievers. Medium size weighing from 38 to 48 pounds when adult. The desire to please and easy attitude of Magnum and the strong retrieving instincts from Dublin and friendly should all come out in the pups.

Pine Shadows Magnum

Magnum is a liver and white male with steady drive in the field, easy attitude in the house or while training and hunting. He possesses a solid nose and has great biddability. He is a stocky springer with a strong solid body structure. He is very well mannered around the house and with other dogs. Magnum is very alert, hunts hard in the field and works well in the water. He is currently being run in field trials throughout the year handled by Morgan or his owner Steve. 

Pine Shadows Dublin

Dublin is a black and white female weighting in at 38 pounds. She is medium stature, a bit leggy and an enthusiastic retriever. She is very alert, attentive to her surroundings and has a pleasing attitude. She is a good hunting dog, hunts the cover hard and likes the water as well. She is easy to handle in the field and a pleasure to hunt over.

Kit x Morgan’s Litter
Due February 20, 2025

This litter is expected to have liver and white pups and black and white pups with sizes from 38 – 48-pound dogs. There should be some alertness in the pups from Kit  plus the added attentiveness and drive from Morgan. They should be quick learners, inquisitive and a pleasure to have around the house and in the fields. Look for some larger size in most of the pups from this litter with the drive ion the field.  6.25% line bred coefficient.

Morgan is a black and white male with steady drive in the field, easy attitude in the house or while training and hunting. He possesses a solid nose and has great biddability. He is a stocky springer weighing about 45 pounds.  Morgan is an outside stud dog we are using to linebred from some solid field trial parents, we have watched Morgan develop in the field trial world and liked is biddability.

Kit is a liver and white female with a well-proportioned body structure. She weighs about 36pounds. She possesses a drive in the field, naturally easy to control in the field; hunts close and a very good retriever.  She has an excellent nose, soft mouth and his universally handled but different huntsman.

This litter is expected to have liver and white pups with sizes from 32- 45 pound dogs. They should have an active mindset and have the drive and power needed in the hunting field as well as calmness to settle in around the house. This is an outcross of our Pine Shadows lines bringing in the activity level of Avery with drive dependability of Atlas.

Northstar’s Holdin’ Up The Heavens Atlas

Atlas is a black and white male with strong drive in the field, very biddable, with an easy attitude in the house or while training and hunting. He possesses a solid nose. He is a taller, lean well-muscled springer with a strong solid body structure. He is very well mannered around the house and with other dogs. Atlas is very alert, hunts hard in the field and is a tremendous water dog. He is currently being run in field trials throughout the year handled by Morgan or his owner Drew.

She is a solid well-proportioned female with a strong sleek body structure.  She is a medium sized female with powerful drive in the field. She is easy to control in the field; hunts close and retrieves well to hand.  She is an intelligent dog, figuring out the training process and the drills very quickly. She is alert and very easy to be around in the house and the field.

Bandy x Rex’s Litter
Due Spring 2025

This litter is expected to have liver and white pups with sizes from 30 – 45-pound dogs. There should be some alertness in the pups plus the added calmness of Rex coming out in some of the pups. They should be quick learners, inquisitive and a pleasure to have around the house and in the fields. Bandy’s influence with bring in the inquisitiveness and Rex will bring in the calmness with drive coming from both sides. 

FC AFC Carpe Avem – REX 

Rex is a medium sized liver and white male with mostly white spotted liver coloring. He is an even-tempered male, very easy to handle in the field and well-mannered dog in the house. He is inquisitive and very polite around other dogs and people. He is a consistent dog in the field trial circuit and connected with the handler. Great marker on downed birds, exceptional nose for trailing crippled birds and solid retriever with a soft mouth.

She is a solid well-proportioned female with a sleek body structure.  She possesses a powerful drive in the field with a playfulness when not being trained. Flint x Henry’s Litter
Due Spring 2025

This litter is expected to have liver and white pups with sizes from  36 – 45 pound dogs. They should be athletic dogs with a well-muscled body structure. The attributes of an easy to control, attentive to the handler and manners from Flint and the drive and intelligence of Henry  should produce biddable dogs with a solid body structure with strong noses and a natural retrieving ability. The specialty of this pairing is the social ability of both parents plus the drive in the field with both dogs.

Henry is a black and white male with an athletic, well-proportioned body structure built more trim and streamlined throughout his shoulders and back. He is an alert dog, likes to retrieve, hunts hard in the field and relaxes in and around the house. He has a good nose, attentive, pays attention to the handler while hunting and good at trailing out crippled birds. He has an excellent personality with some excitement in his playfulness. He is used at our hunting lodge in South Dakota extensively.

Flint is a liver and white female with a larger sleek frame. She weighs about 42 pounds. She is a solid well-proportioned female with an athletic body structure.  She is easy to control in the field; hunts close and retrieves well to hand.  She is an intelligent girl, figures out the hunting cover and birds quickly. She is alert and very easy to be around in the house and the field. She is used this fall at our hunting lodge for pheasants and is handled by many of our huntsmen
